The Coalition’s advocacy working group strives to ensure comprehensive representation and promote the rights of LGBT+ people in Eastern Europe on the international stage.
Advocacy
The Coalition’s advocacy Working Group prepares submissions, inputs, statements, and other contributions based on gathered evidence from the region to various international mechanisms, actors, and organizations. Additionally, the advocacy group compiles annual reports and briefs on the situation, regulations, and practices related to preventing hate crimes against LGBT+ people, anti-discrimination, legal gender recognition, and other relevant human rights issues in the region.

The Developing Routing and Structures Working Group is crucial for establishing effective operational frameworks within the Eastern European Coalition for LGBT+ Equality. It focuses on creating and refining internal processes, governance structures, and communication pathways to enhance the Coalition’s efficiency and responsiveness. By standardizing procedures and ensuring clear communication channels, the Group helps streamline decision-making and coordination among member organizations. This working group also develops guidelines and best practices to ensure consistency and accountability in the Coalition’s operations.


The Fundraising Working Group
The Fundraising Working Group plays a pivotal role in securing the financial resources
necessary to support the Coalition mission of advancing LGBT+ rights and equality across the region. By identifying and pursuing funding opportunities, preparing grant applications, and building strong donor relationships, the group ensures the sustainability and growth of the Coalition’s initiatives. It also ensures accurate financial reporting to sustain and support the Coalition mission.
